SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Experience in CAD/PLM using TeamCenter/Unigraphics/NX and PDM

CAD modelling experience and design of mechanical components.

Good understanding of engineering design philosophy and tool-set

Skill in producing design solutions within the specific standards & techniques understanding the requirements

Knowledge of standard instrumentation techniques and its parts like sensors, Thermocouples etc.

Creating instrumentation strategy, resulting in Instrumentation Design solutions

Skill in Identifying and creating Interface design documents and validate all the required inputs

Good experience in using Microsoft Office and reporting tools

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of numeracy.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Capture design intent from requirement documents

Use NX and Teamcentre to create and store the models

Manage technical attributes (e.g. weight, cost) of the designed components

Challenge requirements where applicable to provide the most effective design

Follow Standard procedures and Techniques

Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with proprietary information.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer interaction on various Design Engineering tasks for Integration and presenting to different forums

Collaborate and communicate design solution information with task stakeholders.

Coordinate and follow-up with fellow designers at offsite.

Communicate effectively with customers and a diverse staff population.

QUALIFICATIONS

BEng Level or above (or equivalent) in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or relevant studies. MSc Degree from UK is key advantage

Hours: 37 Hours/Week
Experience: Minimum 2 years required for this role
Salary: £31,000 to £45000 (Depends on Experience)
