Skills & Experience
• Minimum five years experience in Manual & Automation Testing of software, systems, identifying source of problems and proposes solutions
• Developing, Implementation and documentation of test plans for IT software and systems
• Developing quality standards and validation techniques
• Experience of test techniques like Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Partitioning, All-pairs
• Good experience in manual and automated testing
• Manual and Automation Testing Process lifecycle and defect management Workflow
• Coding experience in C# or Java
• Work experience of at least one of Selenium Webdriver, JMeter or SOAPUI
• Ability to influence and drive best practice both within the test team and within the wider business
• Good time management and the ability to manage multiple tasks and workflows
• Understand of usability, accessibility and performance and how key users interact with the product
• Structured and precise approach to testing and documenting results
• Examining IT system for potential threats to its security and integrity
• ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation Level
• IBM Certified Database Associate
• Certified Application Developer
• Beneficial Skills: BDD/Continuous Integration/Jenkins pipeline/Ansible/Chef & TFS/Test Manager
Primary Responsibilities
• Input into initial feature/project scoping and effort estimation
• Design and execute test functions
• Design and build automation scripts
• Build and maintain test environments
• Keep regression test documentation up to date
• Document defects found and retest/review any resolutions
• Summarise test results
• Assist support teams in functional/configuration clarifications
• Reproduce customer failures where necessary
• Review the recorder against new handsets/softphones and version upgrades
